We had some strawberries in the fridge that were in desperate need of being eaten. Neither Joe or I were in the mood for straight strawberries so I figured I would try to make something sweet with them. We can always go for something sweet. :0)
Ingredients:

- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 3 T butter
- Sugar divided (1/3 cup, 3T)
- Flour divided (2T, 1/3 cup + 1T)
- 1 t baking powder
- small pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup milk

In a separate bowl, mix remaining flour and sugar, baking powder and salt. Add milk and whisk until smooth.

Remove dish with melted butter from oven. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir.

Spoon strawberries on top of batter. Again, do not stir.

Bake for 40 - 45 minutes until cobbler is golden brown and bubbly.

Serve warm. If you’re in an extra special mood, serve with ice cream.
