Chinese? Not my favorite…at all! I am not a fan of the soy sauce flavors, but Hubs is a fan so we gave this recipe a try. In the end, I really liked it…I really did. I love just about anything that has been slow cooked and is so tender. Mmmm….my mouth is watering now. :0)
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs boneless chick pot roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 c soy sauce
- 1/4 c water
- 1/2 t ginger
Place roast and onion in the crock-pot. Combine soy sauce, water, and ginger. Pour over the meat and onion. Cook on low for 6 hours. Reserve juices for a sauce when serving. Serve over rice.
