It's Been a While

Wow - I didn't realize how long it has been since I have been on this blog!  I have a few reasons for getting beck into personal blogging, but my reasons aren't very important.  I'm here now and ready to share :).  So I will start by expaining that I have a new love in my life, well really I would even call it an obsession...Pinterest.  Yes, I have fallen head over heels in love with this bookmarking site and it has changed my life!  We have created many things for our home, and my cooking style has changed dramatically. 

Yesterday I tried out a new cupcake:  Oreo stuffed Oreo Cupcake with Oreo Creamcheese Frosting.  Sounds yummy right?!  They were decadent!  Even Joe liked them and he is not really a fan of anything chocolate.

Tonight Pinterest made another special apperance.  I have to give you a little story with this one.  All Joe ever does is complain about Pinterest because it gives me a millions ideas of things I want him to help me accomplish around the house.  He says, "I think your friend Pinterest adds 10 things to my honey-do list every day."  Well tonight he was singing the praises of my friend Pinterest when he and Brad got to have mini-cheeseburger french fries with their movie instead of popcorn.  These were so simple I can't believe I hadn't ever thought of making something like this.  They were super yummy too!
