Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Pizza

Pizza for dinner? Um…yes please!  We wanted to try something a little different with our pizza tonight and Joe loves breakfast for dinner, so why not combine them??  This recipe is fast, easy, and delicious!1

  • 1 can of refrigerated pizza crust
  • 16 oz package of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tomato sliced thin
  • 8 oz package of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 T milk
  • 1/8 t dried basil

Prepare pizza crust on a pizza pan or cookie sheet.  Heat oven as directed on the package and bake crust until it is just done, not browned.  Remove the crust from the oven, but leave the oven on.

I like to cut my tomatoes for pizza on the mandolin so they are super nice and thin.

3

Top the crust with bacon, tomato, and cheese.  Since Joe despises tomato and I am not a fan of bacon (unless it is burnt to a crisp) so you will notice that I did each half of the pizza a little differently to meet our individual tastes.

5

Whisk eggs, milk, and basil together…

…and drizzle the mix over the pizza.

7

Bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until the egg mixture is set and enjoy!
